Optimism Test

Cynicism: 61/100
This test asked 47 questions about my level of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of my life. I enjoyed taking this test because it helped me realize how I react (emotionally and physically) to what happens around me. I feel like this test is fairly accurate because it measures the extent of one's optimism/cynicism and I am quiet cynical.

Sims Personality Test

I also took the sims personality test. This test concluded that I am neat, outgoing, moderately active, playful and somewhat nice. I answered a few simply questions with whether or not I agreed or disagreed so I liked the test and thought it was fun and simple. I don't think this test is completely accurate because the character traits they listed are very broad and have a lot of variable connected to them.

My Life Goals

I took another survey to determine "My Life Goals." According to the test, I value financial success, social recognition, self-acceptance and affiliation. I feel like this test can be considered pretty valid because it based its conclusions on how strongly I felt towards a certain subject and then ranked them. I enjoyed this test because it let me think about my goals in life.

Jung Typology Test

The second test I took was the Hamanmetrics Jung Typology Test. For the test, I had to answer a ton of yes or no questions and then the system concluded that I am an ENFJ. Based on the test, I have a tremendous power to manipulate others (but I usually don't use it as manipulation), I generally believe in dreams, I have an expansive focus, I am a global learner (I see the big picture), I know and appreciate people and I often take on more of others' burdens than I can bear. These results seem surprisingly accurate and I think the test is reasonably valid due to its length and detailed yes or no questions that allow the system to make valid conclusions.

Personality Dimensions

The first personality test I took was a personality dimensions quiz and it asked me to rank certain characteristics about myself anywhere between disagree strongly and agree strongly. My results decided how much I was like the Big 5 character traits (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to new experiences). I was surprised to get a 56 on a scale 1-100 in extraversion because I feel like I am more outgoing than that. I also did not realize that I am apparently very open to new experiences because I got a 90 out of 100 on that. I think the test is moderately valid, however so many more factors play in determining how similar you are to the "Big 5" character traits so I would not consider it completely accurate.
